North Riverside Public Library

For this project, the Library District obtained a triangular piece of property immediately adjacent to Riverside Golf Club. While the shape of the site created some planning challenges, the adjacency to the golf course afforded the library spectacular, open views.

Keeping in character with their surroundings, the Library District desired a “prairie-style” building complete with horizontal lines, large overhangs, natural materials, a fireplace, and interior wood running trim.
