Divine Mercy Polish Mission Church

CLIENT: Divine Mercy Polish Mission Church

Nestled within the boundaries of a fan-shaped site that preserves a large area of wetlands, this new 16,000-SF, 700-seat church emerges gracefully from the trees in a palette of warm brick, stone, and copper.

Founded by the Society of Christ priest order from Poland, the parish serves the largest Polish population outside of Poland. From the beginning of the design process, the architects strove to blend an “Old World character” and a feeling of permanence with the features of a modern house of worship.
